Circe was never only the enchantress of the Odyssey. Daughter of Helios, she belongs to the solar world, while later tradition connects her with Hecate and the realm of magic. Her knowledge is carried through pharmakon — a Greek word that can mean remedy, drug, or poison. The same substance can heal or harm.

That duality became the language of this pendant.

Two female profiles face in opposite directions around the stone. Above them sits the sun; below, the moon. Botanical details recall Circe’s knowledge of herbs and transformation.

At the center is a naturally banded ametrine, a stone combining amethyst and citrine. Its visible division of color makes the idea of dual nature physical rather than symbolic. The stone is translucent and open at the back so its internal bands and facets can be seen from both sides.

In crystal traditions, ametrine is associated with balance, creativity, intuition, confidence, and problem-solving. Its amethyst side is linked with spiritual awareness and the Third Eye Chakra, while its citrine side is associated with manifestation, personal power, vitality, and the Solar Plexus Chakra.
